- Music - the music is an extremely important component of Aruban culture. Created as a result of connecting Aruban elements with European and African notes and instruments, the new music of Aruba sounds very originally. Every note brings enormous support of energy, turning listener into positive mood. The islanders are known for their tumba (kind of music which name comes from the conga drums used for an accompaniment), mazurkas, danzas, and waltzes. Finally, talking about music is like watching the food or smelling books. You can do your best trying to describe the feelings, but they all are too subjective to pass on. Please find a while to check some original music by the ‘Dushi Band of Aruba’ and their song called ‘Music’ – link here: Dushi Band of Aruba.
There’s also another band, even if it’s created by German, which music sounds exactly like a real Aruban. The ‘Datapanik’ with its ‘Riba un sero’ is available here: Datapanik

I flew from Boston to Aruba this spring for $550 and was satisfied with the service. John, Apr 19th
In 2006 we spent New Year's eve in Aruba. We travelled with AirTran from Atlanta and it was a bit uncomfortable. This year we managed to get Delta Airways tickets for $550 each. Fairly a good deal. Nat D, Dec 24th
